Uuden Cross 55 BR:n innovatiiviset ratkaisut viitoittavat suuntaa, hyvistä ajo-ominaisuuksistaan tunnetun, Cross- venemalliston tulevaisuudelle.
Sulavalinjainen Cross 55 BR huokuu monikäyttöisyyttä: takaistuimen selkänoja voidaan irrottaa kätevästi, kun peräkannen tasoa halutaan käyttää kalastukseen tai auringosta nauttimiseen, väljät tilat mahdollistavat helpon tavaroiden kuljetuksen ja kokonaan uuden rungon leveys tekee veneestä tilavan ja vakaan. Uuteen Cross-tyyliin kuuluvat myös tyylikkäät mustat tuulilasin karmit, kaiteet, kahvat ja knaapit.
Veneen takaosa on avoin ja helppokulkuinen. Laajat, veneeseen nousemista helpottavat uimatasot ulottuvat pitkälle moottorikaivon molemmille puolille. Laaja takaosan taso tarjoa myös mahdollisuuden istua satamassa tai rannalla rennosti selkä menosuuntaan jalat uimatasolla.
Kuljettajan ergonomiasta on pidetty huolta uudenlaisella pulpetin muotoilulla. Parhaan mahdollisen näkyvyyden takaamiseksi vakiovarusteisiin kuuluva Cross Q -älynäyttö on sijoitettu selvästi sivuun, ratin oikealle puolelle. Näin ratti ei ole näytön edessä ja pulpetin yläreunaa on voitu laskea, jolloin näkyvyys eteen on erinomainen.
Veneessä on selkeitä ja tilavia säilytystiloja kaikkiaan ruhtinaalliset 400 litraa. Pelkästään perätason alla on 150-litrainen säilytystila, jonka takana on tila kuomulle. Säilytystilaan ja kuomukoteloon pääsy on helppoa, sillä koko tason kansi nousee ylös eivätkä esimerkiksi pehmusteet rajoita kannen käyttöä. Akku on sijoitettu takaosan säilytystilaan, mutta kokonaan erilleen omaan suojattuun lokeroonsa.
