2023 R125 on Yamahan suorituskykyisin A1-luokan Supersport
R125:n uusi muotoilu vahvistaa yhteyttä isompiin Yamahan R-malleihin.
Uusi, neljännen sukupolven R125 on edeltäjiensä tavoin tehty nuorille, tinkimättömille Supersport-ajajille, jotka haluavat kokea Yamahan R-maailman heti alusta lähtien. 2023 mallin muotoilua on uusittu sekä varustelua parannettu muun muassa luistonestojärjestelmällä, TFT-näytöllä ja älypuhelinliitettävyydellä.
R125:n uusi muotoilu vahvistaa yhteyttä isompiin Yamahan R-malleihin. R7-tyylinen uusi kate ja polttoainesäiliön sivuilla olevat uudenmalliset tuuliohjaimet muodostavat entistä virtaviivaisemman ulkonäön. M-muotoisen etukatteen keskelle sijoitettu tehokas LED-ajovalo tuottaa kirkkaan lähi- ja kaukovalokeilan.
Uuden R125:n varusteluun kuuluu nyt isoista moottoripyöristä tuttu TCS-luistonestojärjestelmä. Se tehostaa ajohallintaa etenkin liukkaalla tiellä, sateella ja kovissa kiihdytyksissä. Luistonesto on myös kytkettävissä pois esimerkiksi rata-ajossa. Vaihdeavustin on saatavilla lisävarusteena, jonka asennus sujuu nopeasti ja kätevästi esiasennetun johdotuksen ansiosta.
Uudessa R125:ssä on, R1-tyylinen, viisituumainen TFT-täysvärimittaristo kahdella teemalla. Street-näkymän keskellä on digitaalinen nopeusnäyttö ja palkkityyppinen kierroslukumittari sekä alareunassa vilkun, kaukovalon ja lämpötilan varoitusvalot. Track-näkymän keskellä on 25 kierroksen muistilla varustettu kierrosajastin ja yläpuolella palkkityyppinen kierroslukumittari, joten rata-ajossa olennaiset tiedot näkee yhdellä silmäyksellä.
2023 R125-mallissa on älypuhelinyhteyden mahdollistava tiedonsiirtoyksikkö (CCU). Yhteyden aktivointia varten kuljettajan älypuhelin yhdistetään pyörään Bluetooth®-yhteydellä ja Yamahan ilmaisen MyRide-sovelluksen avulla.
Pyörän nestejäähdytteisen nelitahtimoottorin vääntövahvan suorituskyvyn ja 11 kW (15 hv) huipputehon taustalla ovat isot imu- ja pakoventtiilit, kompakti palotila sekä venttiiliajoitusten VVA-järjestelmä. Suorituskykyä parantava VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) -järjestelmä optimoi venttiilien ajoituksen kierrosluvun mukaan. Tämä varmistaa hyvän väännön ja tehokkaan kaasuvasteen koko kierroslukualueella.
